What is the Size of the School?

The Dojo has a maximum of twelve active members at any time.  However  we rarely reach that limit.  Generally there are two to six students attending any given class.

What uniform do I need ?

Standard dress for students is a Judo gi, white in color with a traditional belt.  Black belts may  wear a Black or White uniform if they chose.

How often can I attend class ?

You can attend three (3) classes a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  You will need to take as many classes as you can.  With out  regular attendance you won't learn anything.

Can I try a class before signing up ?

We encourage prospective students to try a class at no charge before deciding if they want to continuePlease call Mr.Greene at (765) 759-8153 to arrange a time to visit.

Does Bushi Jujitsu partciate in contest ?

No, contest are not a focus of our training.

Is it OK that I have no martial arts experience ?

Of course, any student with a sincere desire to train is welcome.

Is this art right for me ?

It is if you want it to be, talk to Soke Greene and try a class, either the style and the way Mr. Greene teaches will inspire you or it won't.

What is the difference between Judo and Jujitsu ?

Ju-Jutsu is the gentle skill.  This refers to it being a soft art, not being gentle to your opponent.  Judo is the path of gentleness.  In modern usage Judo refers to the specific art of Kodokan sport Judo, where as Ju-Jutsu is usually a form of unarmed combat.
