                                          To all Martial Artists                                               
 
 
Within the United States there are thousands of people claiming to be the Soke of a martial art.  One web site reported that 3219 martial artist had applied for Sokeship.  Of those that applied, only sixteen successfully met the minmimum requirements.
 
As students you deserve, quality, trust, honesty, and the highest level of training, not false claims from frauds advertizing ranks and titles they can't prove.
 
As instructor's we can save the past and protect the future by seeking the correct methods the masters of old used to established a new ryu.  
 
The United States Soke Council was created for the retention of integrity, to set and maintain high standards and to over see the certified grades of our members.
 
It is not our intent to point fingers at anyone person or persons, but to educate and regain the trust of our peers and the martial arts community.        
 
We encourage all who read this to cooperate for the furtherance of integrity and quality within the United States of America.
