Criteria for Sokeship:   Send a formal letter of introduction telling of your background and martial arts history.   Must send your contact information, home phone, home address, e-mail address.   Must have a minmum of 20 years in the martial arts.   Must have a Masters ranking in a legitimate martial art.   Must have a second Yudansha ranking in another martial art.   Must be at least 35 years of age.   Must be free from criminal record.   Must be a citizen and a resident of the Unite States of America.   Must send contact information of all your Instructors and Yudansha students.   Disciplines must come from Japanese origins.   Must send copies of all your earned rank certifications.   If applying for Head of Family status, you must hold the higest grade within that ryu.   You must meet Shodai Soke requirements, and have documentation of your successorship.
